Ilkeston Town can confirm that Sam Bird has been recalled from his short-term loan at the Microlise New Manor Ground by parent club Chorley FC.
The 23-year-old defender made nine appearances for the Robins since his move in December, kept four clean sheets and scored from the penalty spot in our shoot-out win over Alfreton Town in the Quarter-Final of the Derbyshire Senior Challenge Cup.
