We are pleased to announce that Microlise will be sponsoring Ilkeston Town Football Club for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons.
With the sponsorship from Microlise and their business partners, the deal is a six-figure fee which is arguably the biggest in non-league football.
Following successive promotions, the club topped its string of successes by being crowned champions of the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands in 2021/2022.
Promotion sees a well-deserved move to the Southern Football League Premier Division for season 2022-23.
Since their purchase of the club in October 2019, owners David Hilton and Andrew Nally have started to upgrade the team’s home ground, the newly-named Microlise New Manor Ground, with the installation of a state-of-the-art 4G pitch, an updated technical area and refreshed changing rooms, making the stadium one of the best in non-league football.
Ilkeston Town FC have remained closely integrated within the local community since the club formed. Matchday crowds often exceeded 2,000 spectators and the club is proud to boast over 500 junior members.
The club is a place where families can come and enjoy a safe, affordable and fun-filled environment, making Ilkeston Town FC the largest community asset in the area.
Ilkeston Town operations manager Mark Frost visited the 2022 Microlise Transport Conference this May.
