The Pitching In Northern Premier League have reissued detailed guidance regarding the live streaming of matches and supporters are reminded about UEFA Article 48.
From 16 August 2025, under UEFA Article 48, the broadcasting or live streaming of matches during designated blocked hours is prohibited.
For FA Cup, FA Trophy and FA Vase fixtures, clubs must adhere to the rules of those competitions related to broadcasting.
What are blocked hours?
For the 2025/26 season, blocked hours are in effect on Saturdays between 14:45 and 17:15, on the dates set out by UEFA and our domestic governing bodies. These regulations are in place to ensure spectators are not deterred from attending matches, protect clubs’ revenue generated by gate receipts, and preserve the interests of football within each national association.
Supporters should also be aware that any unauthorized live streaming of matches could place the club in breach of competition rules and result in disciplinary action. Matches may, however, be recorded for analysis or highlights purposes as permitted by the regulations.
We therefore kindly request that our supporters do not attempt to live stream fixtures. Your cooperation helps protect the club and ensures we remain fully compliant with domestic competition and UEFA regulations.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
