Ahead of the game, Ian Deakin shared his thoughts
“This week has been a short turnaround with games, it’s nice to have another home game, picking four points up in the previous two games has improved our form and confidence is higher within the squad.
“We’ve got a strong squad that we hope to utilize in terms of there being tired legs at the moment with the games coming thick and fast so it’s important we keep everyone fresh, but most importantly the fans were excellent the other day willing us on to the win. We’re going to need the atmosphere the same again tonight, we want to make this a fortress so that when teams come it’s a tough place.
“We’re under no elusion that tonight is going to be a tough game, Guiseley are in good form, and I know some of their staff from my playing days, I know what they’ll be about, we’ve done our homework.”
