The Robins are back in action on Tuesday evening as they make the short trip to face Clipstone FC in the latest addition to their pre-season schedule.
Following Saturday’s defeat to a strong National League North side in Worksop Town, Tris Whitman’s squad will be looking to continue building fitness and sharpness as preparations for the 2026/27 campaign continue.
The fixture provides another valuable opportunity for the Robins to put their work on the training ground into practice, with minutes expected across the squad as pre-season progresses.
Clipstone, who compete in the United Counties League Premier Division North, will provide the opposition at The Lido Ground, as Ilkeston continue their busy pre-season schedule.
