Coming off the back of a battling performance at Atherton, manager Ian Deakin said
“It’s going to be a tough game against second in the league, I think they reached the play-offs last season as well so it’s going to be a tough physical battle, like every game in this league.
“It’s important that the fans enjoyed last week. They have suffered over the past few weeks with some bad results but I think it was a case of really trying to solidify the team in terms of numbers moving forward.
“”I was really pleased with the result last Saturday, we’ll take the momentum into this weekend and get a result at home, hopefully the three points. We’ll need the fans behind us as always and hopefully they continue to support us moving forward with the transition.”
