We are delighted to confirm the signing of Elwalid Elhaghany, subject to NPL and FA approval.
The 6ft 5in defender becomes the latest addition to Tris Whitman’s squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Elhaghany arrives at the Microlise New Manor Ground having previously featured for Coventry United, Nuneaton Borough and Shepshed United, while also gaining valuable Step 3 experience with Barwell last season.
Primarily a centre-back, Elhaghany is a commanding presence defensively and poses a significant aerial threat in the opposition penalty area. His versatility has also seen him deployed further forward during his career, highlighting his ability to influence the game at both ends of the pitch.
Manager Tris Whitman believes the defender has all the attributes to make a successful step up and continue his development with the Robins.
“Elwalid has joined the club after impressing early on in pre-season.
“An imposing defender who has done well at Step four and three and now wants to prove himself at the Microlise New Manor Ground.”
