We are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Cherif Baba Yaya, who joins the Robins on a three-month loan deal from Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
Yaya joined Forest in 2025 for an undisclosed fee following a successful spell with Portuguese side Rio Ave FC. A combative midfielder who thrives in physical duels, he adds further strength and energy to Tris Whitman’s squad.
The midfielder spent part of last season on loan with Hereford in the National League North, gaining further experience of senior football.

“Cherif is someone who brings qualities we have lacked in the opening games. He comes from Forest with high expectations and potential, and overall we are delighted to have him on board.
“The move comes off the back of a good relationship with Forest from our time working in their academy, and we thank them for their support with this deal.”
