Looking to continue their perfect start to the league season, Ilkeston Town will make the trip up to North Yorkshire to face Whitby at the Towbar Express Stadium on Saturday.
The Robins have excellently navigated what looked to be a tough start to the season on paper, with battling victories over Stockton Town and Emley.
The fixture this weekend is the first of six more they will face during the month, but the excellent start to the season will give the team every ounce of confidence to come out of it with a positive result.
Whitby have had a mixed start to the season, picking up a victory on the opening day before being defeated by Guiseley midweek, therefore they will be looking for a response when Tris Whitman’s men come to town tommorow.
The Seasiders got the better of Ilkeston on both occasions last season, picking up wins by a 1-0 scoreline home and away, meaning the Robins will be looking to get the upper hand when the two teams meet for the first time of this campaign.
