We are delighted to confirm the signings of six new players ahead of this weekend’s game with Bedford Town.
Two players have arrived on loan from Scunthorpe United, 24-year-old midfielder Jordan Hallam and 21-year-old left-back Mason O’Malley.
Hallam (pictured below left) began his career at Sheffield United before featuring for Southport, Chesterfield and Norwegian side Viking FK on loan, then moving to Scunthorpe where he has made 27 appearances, scoring three goals.
O’Malley (below right) is a Republic of Ireland U21 international who came through the ranks at Huddersfield Town before moving on to Scunthorpe for whom he’s appeared more than 50 times.
Another recruit is midfielder Connor Dixon, who joins on loan from Derby County. The 22-year-old has come through the youth ranks at Pride Park, being part of the title-winning U18 side in 2018/19 and then featuring regularly for the U21s and U23s.
Also joining on loan is goalkeeper Callum Hiddlestone from Sheffield United. He has featured for the Blades at U18 and U23 level.
Signing on a dual registration basis from their respective clubs, meanwhile, are Clifton All Whites defender Latrell Patterson and Heather St John’s winger Mitchell Woakes.
The arrival of the new players follows the departure of three others from Ilkeston, with Dempsey Arlott-John and Chris O’Grady having had their contracts cancelled by mutual consent and Dan Bradley having joined Matlock Town.
We thank all three players for their contributions while with the Robins and wish them well for the future.
